Black Disco Ball
Shovels with crystal handles dig or try to every millisecond of day
Hoping to find that jewel that carries to gift of yin and yang
One promise always fluffed with but never really made
I'd say that I have discovered perfect balance, but I'd be wrong
I know that she's in there somewhere, I have no spy-glass
I have no all-seeing and omnipresent microscope in my grasp
Too passed the sins that I have committed, hope in the trash
It feels so much that I cannot stride along with my task
If I can't have an answer, let the crickets plague in my mind
Or any rational thought be burned inside my own flame
I could dance with natural disasters, but it would be fine
For all eternity, I want to feel so innocent and insane
Let me lose every cell wearing glasses and bow ties
And let music notwa turn and shake in every wall
I'd keep wanting it to live because I don't want to cry
Let the warmth of the rhythm shine and start to scald
A good burn, like dry ice that fills warm liquid
Let us scream and yell up and down these hollow halls
So crazy yet so innocent, like a balloon given kid
We can be black swans dancing inside the black disco ball
