My heart is free
Like a bird in flight
With nowhere to go
And no boundaries
My heart is wild
Like a caged lion
With no way of escape
And that is crazed with fear
My heart is soft
As a feather pillow
Or as cloud
Floating in the sky
My heart is pure
Like a clear stream
Or a precious diamond
My heart is my own
And no one else’s
It is my heart that keeps me going
And I will not stop
Until my heart
Stops beating
