The Real You
You always say you’re ugly
But you’re beautiful to me
You think no one likes you
Let’s just say that’s SO not true
You’re too afraid to take a stand
And you won’t take that out-stretched hand
Because that would make you look weak
You think the whole world is dark and bleak
You’re head tells you to expect the worse
And to trust no one in the universe
But maybe you should listen to your heart
Because I never want you and I to part
Let that fierce girl out of her shell
And throw your doubts in a prison shell
Lock them up and throw away the key
Let the real you be free
