Where Did You Go Grampa Jim
Grampa Jim was the nicest,
Smartest, and most pure
man I've ever met.
I remember his soft wrinkly skin,
the holy water he washed in,
and his great belly that would shake when he snored.
He was living, living, living, gone.
Now i see the spirit that was him and the nothing he is now, nothing...
nothing...
nothing, but a strange memory of love that I will cherish forever.
Sometimes I can still hear his voice in my ear,
And I ask myself... Where did you go?
