Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow. ~Mary Anne Radmacher

My life is like an ever changing stream.

I have gone through three states, seven cites, 13 homes.

I have left behind the best of friendships, and the worst.
I break down walls with my steady might. I get trapped by garbage that lies in my path, but I push through.

I gurgle, and splash, down mountains happy to be free.

I flex over logs, which once were mighty trees.
I let nothing stop me as I rush into the mighty river, following it every move.

Only to be cut off and move back into a stream.
People step on my back so they may reach the mountain.

Parts of me go in different directions, making me lost and confused, which path?
Until I come back together, and fall of a cliff’s edge. But I pick myself up, to stop in a serene lake and maybe stay a while?

I am a stream…….

Let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers, but to be fearless in facing them. Let me not pray for the stilling of my pain, but for the heart to conquer it.
~ Tagore

This was very good and a great metaphor but I think it could have done without the first four lines. They just don't seem to be very important or as strong as the rest of the poem. They just didn't flow together very well. Great job though! Four stars!
