This is just to say
That I’m sorry about that time when I
Chased a squirrel that was passing by.
It was glaring at me and gave a small hiss
Honestly, I could not resist.
I’m a dog, not a man and I needed the work out
So I don’t understand why you have to shout.
So deep down I’m sorry, from my snout to my feet.
P.S. Maybe you could still give me a treat?
