The night envelopes me like a black cloud

Stealing my Sanity with creeping sounds

The floors tell stories; the walls say a prayer

My eyes deceive that anything is there

Yet my mind tells me to keep up the stare

The darkness is calling; leading me down

Where I am going; there’s no one around

I feel choked, eerie presence in the air

Wish you would come and shake these fears away

My feet carry me trying to find

Visions of daylight crawl through my mind
