Truth of the Ignorant
Ignorant people linger on the walls
Where their naïve children
Resist the door to life;
Where mistakes are unspoken
And rumors cannot be heard;
Where destruction is feared
And evil shall not be contained.
Because the walls portray blindness
With their overwhelming features.
But somewhere in a crack
Quiet thoughts awaken
From a child
With a soul that is wise and unbroken;
That will one day lead the suspended minds;
And realize the innocence existing in the world.
Because he will behold the bad to the hearts of good
And teach the ignorant to cherish the walls.
