Sand smooths the rough edges of my
Feet
Cool water swirls about my legs in a rhythmic
Motion
Strong wind chills my
Flesh
Sounds of children
Laughing
And gulls shrieking fill my
Ears
Bright sunshine turns my eyes
Away
And gently strokes my
Face
Waves building, roaring,
Crashing
Drowns negative energy and fills my entire
Being
I stretch my arms wide and take it all
In
Wet, salty
Air
Leads in strength and
Renewal
Escaping my life, I immerse myself in the
Scene
Here at the shore, I find my
Home
