I wish I could forget you.
Seldom does thoughts of you arise in me
Yet, when they tangle themselves in my mind
Pain tugs on my heart with a stinging grip
And I beg of it’s hooked strings to unwind
You use to whisper your thoughts in my ear
Fingers lacing through the strands of my hair
Stroking your hands down the curves of my face
Pasting my eyes on the gleam in your stare
Beyond the abyss where deepest thoughts lie
Curiosity of yours ponder my head
Often do I emerge in your questions?
Or is it the sorrow truth, to you I am dead?
