Another Beautiful Creation
I stand, up to my hips
In sun-dappled water
The current tries to pull me along
But my feet are buried deep in the soft riverbed
Small fish, like small children
Turn playful circles everywhere I look
A gentle wind kisses my cheek
Whispers my name
Cool waves beg me to join them
So I lean back
Letting them wash away the mud
And gently carry me down the stream
Completely filled with peace
I squint at a bright blue sky
And thank God for allowing me to experience
Another beautiful creation
