Twilight Fairies
Twilight
And the ocean breaks,
Another wave hits the shore and the silence becomes like a still pond after a pebble is thrown in
Then all is peaceful again and the sun is gone
The mist of the forest closes in
Swirling in ribbons around me
Until the dull glow in the distance catches my eye
Steadily it becomes brighter and a sparkle
More join it in its flight
And when they reach me they cease, like a running fawn slowly scatters to a stop
Right in front of me, and I smile
Fairies
