Sweet Dreams
I open the glass double doors of my balcony and step foot onto the glossy wooden terrace
I lean along the railing and place my hand upon my cheek as I think of the night we spent together
I place both hands on the railing, lean my head back, and breathe in the nights air
I take one last look at the moon before I turn and go back inside
I close the glass doors behind me and let the pink and gold curtains flow into place
I walk to the bed and bring back the sheets
I set myself into bed, turn off the lights, and close my eyes
Images and memories of you dance throughout my head as I drift into slumber
