Ice Cream
Here I lie feeling blue
Wishing I were dead
When a thought appears
"How about some ice cream to cheer you up?"
"What a great idea," I say
So many flavors I see as I look in the freezer.
Mint, strawberry, coconut,
vanilla, chocolate, and more
So many flavors I truly adore.
So into a bowl my ice cream will go.
And sweet and delicious I truly do know
Cold, but soft as it touches my lips
Now I'm wondering, " Got any dip?"
The sweet sugar mixed with cream
Freeze it and now you got ice cream!
The memories is produces
Reminds me of my first ice cream I ate
Taking away that heavy weight
Towards my parents and life
Now I'm content.
No reason to lament.
Ice cream, ice cream
I truly adore
Tasty ice cream, "May I have some more?"
