Upheavel of life
My soul walked towards my heart
Too hard to find, the way perhaps
It stopped in disguise
Was it the end?
Or just the beginning?
It asked itself
Mind settled in unquiet darkness
Too hard to call you mine
It hung in silence of agony
Was it your heart that I stole?
Or just the pain of burning inside?
Rather a forgotten harmony
A melody echoed every unspoken word
A few honest shadows
Reflected every part of us
Or it was a fear of separation
All there ever was: just you and me
