"kissing is just like
keeping time to music"
he tells me
fingers skipping over
ivory keys
melody radiating
from his palms
something i don’t recognize
"tap your foot
to the beat"
i do so
toes thumping
the cold tiles
one two three four
one two three four
"exactly"
he breaths
voice a song in itself
one two three four
we’re so close
on that piano bench
surrounded in a blanket of music
my toes tapping
as his fingers dance
"it's easy"
i whisper
"one, two, three..."
