last one to pay
You’re gonna be the last one I blame,
You’re gonna be the last one to pay.
Because each time around,
Love is never quite the same.
I wake up thinking about the way that I treat you,
And the way that I want to make you feel.
Tell me it’s not real.
If it was I’d be feeling so bad…
What a joke,
You make me cry.
So tell me why you do this to me,
And tell me why I can’t let you be.
But I will leave you alone,
It could never be we.
And that’s okay because I love you,
And you love me.
As much as I mention it, just let me be.
But no matter how much I ask you,
Don’t set me free,
I don’t mind the way I feel.
