Can't See You
I gazed into the fog, and my heart stopped. I call out to you for no answer; with my heart picking up it's pace it's just because I can't see your face. The fog is thicker as I run through it trying to find you. Everything is so hazy and I'm growing cold in this grey fog. I see a faint shadow and hope it's you, so i cry out your name and see if I'm not going insane. It's a street light but you still remain out of sight. All of a sudden I feel a figure behind me, I freeze not knowing it was you, and not knowing what to do. But yet you wrapped your arms around my waist and you feel strong and then in that moment I know this is where I belong. Melting like jelly in your arms I know that here or anywhere that in your arms I am safe and you always have my place. I love you.
