What is love?

So many ways to describe love

Is there not?

Love is blind

Some say love is true

Others say love is a trick of the heart

Makes you believe in such glorious things

Only to end with heartache and tears

Some say love comes not without pain

Yet still many people say that it is better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all

Is that true?

To many love tales told to set your mind on what love is like

There is no perfect prince charming

So you should not waste your time looking

Instead spend your time looking for the one who loves your faults and your perfections

Love has never been easy

Whose to say it is

But if you were to ask me, would i go through love over and over again even though i know the risk of experiencing that dagger in the back heartache time after time

I would have to say yes

Who would not

There are many highs to being in love

And the highs defiantly out weigh the lows

I would think that many of you would agree to this

Would you not?

No matter how brief it may be

Isn't it all worth it in the end

Do you not remember the butterflies you had flying around in your tummy on your first date?

First kiss?

The weightless feeling when you kiss out in the pouring rain

All those times where it seemed so unbelievably good that you had to make sure you were still awake

But there were those times where you may have thought all is lost

Your first fight

You may think you have a good reason to be mad but as time goes by you don't even remember what you were mad about

When times get bad you worry about them breaking up with you

You may luck out a few times

But it does usually happen

When your first break up happens it's like a dagger to your heart

You get sad

You get mad

And then you get sad again

But time will heal

And you realize

It's just another burned bridge

And a new lesson to remember
