His and Hers

She willing gives all her heart.
For all she knows has been torn apart.
Like a shadow that dances on the wind.
Her soul is free to float and bend.

He grudgingly bestows her request.
For pain and sorrow and unrest.
Like a shiver that runs down the spine.
His love was never hers to find.

She selfishly hides him away.
For fear of losing him someday.
Like a silence she closes him in.
Her passion confused with sin.

He regretfully undoes all he’s done.
For he’s not one to call when he comes.
Like a monster love must not be caged.
He’s imprisoned which causes him rage.

She sinisterly slinks off in the night,
For revenge and plots, and fight.
Like a small child denied a toy.
She softly whispers for the boy.

He clumsily falls into her trap.
For not all can resist a hard slap.
Like sorrow he cries out for help.
He screams yet no hears his yelp.

She crazily carries a knife.
For to her he is nothing but a life.
Like a stealthy predator after prey,
She comes to cause much dismay.

He blindly is taken into the night.
For he knows not of the girls plight.
Like a stone he falls to the earth
He is forever free from her curse.

Thanks! I was worried that the rhyme scheme might be too predictable, but from what you said it isn't?

wow it's amazing, it's so different it isn't like a normal boy girl poems. It breaks the ruled and i love it for that reason.

That. Was. Amazing!!! The ending was such a shock! I was worried this would be one of those boring little boy meets girl love stories, when really it's anything but! Keep writing : ) By the way, if you could read some of my poems, that'd be great!
