You say you want me out- -
yet, you keep coming back
we argue through a scream and shout,
yet we do not realize what we lack
I say I can’t be alone- -
yet I keep letting you leave
we have our history set in stone,
yet we do not come together in a heave
We try to stay out of our lives
yet, we keep doing this dance- -
you see yourself around me as if surprised
yet you will not always get, a second chance- -
We try to keep going,
yet- - we keep on taking
I see myself with feelings showing- -
yet I will not always be waiting.
