A Winter's Romance
Your lips are unimportant,
Just as so is your mouth.
Your teeth a chain of whispers,
Your gums a red sea.
Your eyes can be demonic
Or angelic as well;
They can be any shade of blue or green:
They can be a glacier, cold as ice;
They can be as warm as the wine sea.
But the only thing that does matter
Are your hands, your fingers:
Whether they are intertwined with mine;
Whether they will accept a ring.
