Music Notes MAG
I sit and listen
to the music of instruments
watching as the fingers of the musician
dance eagerly on their stage of strings.
I sit and listen
to the music of the radio,
turning knob after knob
unlocking a throng of altered
waves, all compressed in this box of notes.
I sit and listen
to the music of my iPod,
headphones bring a rush of sound
bring my eardrums out of their stupor.
I sit and listen
to the music notes of the years pass,
one after another,
bringing everyone closer
in this music box we call home.
