Lake Of Illussion
The silver lake of reflections,
The mute muffled soul’s abode,
In silent contemplation dwells,
Least movements, so still.
The blue sky bent down to earth,
On a cloud came a dream,
An Angel as languid as the breeze,
Came to see the spring.
Stirred the water here and there,
Forgot its wand of magic where,
Touched the lives in solitary blithe,
Rose in grace and splendour forsake.
The wild noise of hoofs on sand,
A pair of handsome white horse arrives,
The chariot of the Prince Moonbeam,
Came to drink the milk of solace.
The still lake’s reflection blurred,
Illusion wound eyes glare,
Radiating the dull moon light
Resonating the echoing hoofs.
The Irene of the still lake,
Levied by the spirits of night,
The blinding darkness luring to sin,
Blending light to dark and boon to bane.
The sun again to zeniths rose,
Never forgot to visit the lake.
Good, evil, lust and lure,
Touched maimed remold and waned…
