A dream is just a recycled memory.

I'm translucent
You look right through me
Into my eyes
Deep within my soul
You didn't have to read words
On an ancient fold of paper
You knew all along
The secrets I held close
You just didn't realize
How bad they had gotten
I'm afraid
Of what you'll think of me
How you'll react
The shock that stung you
Must still burn a lot
I saw your face
And it wasn't nice
That frown you tried to keep
Deep in disguise
But I saw right through you
'Cause you're transluscent too
I see right through you
And I know what you can do
You can trick people with your games
Your jokes,
Your lies
But I'm the only one
Who knows what you feel inside
But you cope with your pain
Easier than I
You don't rely
On the blade of a knife
To help you breathe
That sigh of relief
And I'm sorry I upset you
I'm sorry I tried
To even give you a glimpse
Of my destructive path of life
And I hope you forgive me
I really do
'Cause if you don't
My blood will turn blue
If i run that blade all the way through
It will be the end
For me and for you
I hope you know
That I love you
And even if you don't
You'll find out soon
Very soon my dear
And you won't regret it
'Cause my face will haunt your memories
Until you admit it
