James, he sits alone thinks,
On times he once did know.
A tear forms in his eye;
Why did she have to go?
He weeps as his soul sinks further into doubt.
The warm sobs turn to ice-cold rain.
Something gentle and soft interrupts his pout.
His hopes were not in vain.
Sweet Sophie has returned to him.
Their hearts race in loving beat.
Just when James was feeling grim,
Sophie swept him off his feet.
For Sophie is an angel with a precious aspect, eyes, and all.
Who can fill James’ arms and keep Adam from his fall.
