Unnatural
Unnatural, yes.
I'm a mess, I'll confess.
The correct term is "clinically depressed."
People wonder if I'm obsessed
With the idea of being constantly in distress.
If I wake in the morning and get dressed
With the crest of destruction,
Pinned to my chest.
Stumbling my way
Throughout my day,
Trying to take a deep breath
But instead inhaling all of these toxins,
Caused by this pollution,
Adding yet another floor to this tower of stress.
And I guess,
Since everyone keeps on trying to caress
And protect me,
That I should just let them and try my best to move forward.
But how can I progress
With a sword hanging above my head,
Just waiting to crash down
And strike me dead.
It's...
Unnatural.
