Forever Alone
Forever alone
I may not be stone
But I’m starting to go cold
I am the unknown
From the first to the last
From now since the past
I’ve been standing
I’ve been waiting
And Now begins the fading
Is it pity, or is it shame
Do you take all of the blame?
Or Good riddance is your cadence
Start to seek at last my abeyance
I may not be stone
I’m forever alone
I’m starting to go cold
I am the unknown
Did I bring this on myself?
Or was I pushed straight from my shelf
Was I never similar?
Should I be familiar?
Do I try defiance?
Or do I just hide it
Insecure is my name
That has never equaled fame
I may not be stone
But I’m starting to go cold
I’m forever alone
I am the unknown
I can leave you with more questions
Whilst I go to my reception
Empty it will be
For all the world to see
None can linger long
Assuredly like this song
I’ll be heard for a while
So why not show my style
Late in this game
I can come back through the rain
Like the lightning flashing bright
I’ll be seared in your sight
Though I may not be stone
I’m starting to go cold
I am the unknown
Forever alone
Will you join me in memory?
Or will I be your reality
Step to the plate
If you wanna change my fate
I don’t have to go cold
Why should I be unknown?
I could crack through stone
If you made me less alone
