The kind that can't be seen
Seen only in the dark by the demons that inflict it

Up against nightmares with backup packing heat with steel bullets of fear 
Fear of the known and unknown the past and the future and what may or may not be
Be brave on the surface and it may carry over
Over to the place where pain is more than an abstract idea that can be conquerred by facing it
It battles with all the hurt and the fear and doubt of the world and all you have, is you 
You cannot be beat it
It will not be defeated but maybe
Maybe you could tame it
It could be forced into a cage and locked in a corner where you don't have to see 
See, but that won't last long because it needs the attention
Attention from those who try too hard not to look at it
So it fights ten times harder, and it won't be ignored by you
