Sometimes the hero is in such a good disguise you never notice who saved you and you end up giving the credit to someone else and blaming the hero for not being there, and then there are the other people who know what really happened and smile

When I pick up the pen and paper, or place the keyboard on my lap,
my thoughts run on the paper, white on black,
I disappear into the world the fiction becomes of me
when I write I dream, a different part of me,
I want others to experience the place where I day dream,
the smell I feel and the things I see, the feelings that I speak,
when I write I want the readers to see,
with no confusion what I want them to see,
I want them to experience the world that sometimes I wish to be in
but I truly rather me.

Yet on the paper is where I escape
where I can make all things possible and be free,
a girl having powers, and a love that is so sweet,
I can make the story in the end even bittersweet,
so when I have the pen I write what I like, what I seek
I am a growing author, and with every idea I write,
I choose to get better.

So when you read you wouldn’t be able to put the book down,
and when you see the movie it will be mind blowing and exciting to see,
but I’m working there with my main goal,
I want you to see the world I create and the fiction I make,
you will experience the world where you feel
the wind blowing on your cheek or see water whirl.

When I pick up the pen and paper,
or place the keyboard on my lap,
my thoughts run on the paper, white on black
The words you will read will be ones you will never forget
one that will have you thinking and waiting for the rest.

For me it’s in the right to write,
to tell you a story through the text
and the words my voice will speak,
you will enter a world where my stories lye’s
you will enter a certain adventure, maybe different from the rest
It’s only in this story you will read
For me it is only in the write.

A feeling unexplainable but impossible to contain
I’d tried my very best, to at least explain
Maybe I speak for myself, of how I feel when I write
It’s like an urge in my heart that I do not fight
I let it all out to give a feeling to the story, I connect
With every character as if what I write was my story
Or maybe it was mixed feeling? I don’t know, it’s like writing
Is a pet friend, were so close are feeling maybe get tangled
But long as you enter the adventure, and experience the feelings
I wish you to feel, I’ve done my job as a writer
To express and make you feel, you may just say
What a good story, and probably forget
But long as I told the story, maybe one day you will know
For me writing, it’s only in the write, maybe like creating a baby of your own

Hopefully I explained the feeling that is sometimes
Unknown, and to others difficult to explain
But if you want to least get a tint of understanding
Maybe not even that close but you will be engrossed
But for you to know, you must read what’s only

In The Write.

The author's comments:
Here is me trying to write a poem which expresses my feeling of how I feel when I write, I hope you writers find some connection to it, but so far this piece was for me, I wanted to try to express a feeling that sometimes seems unexplainable, but in order for you to at least understand, you must be In The Write so read rate and enjoy!

But Hopefully this poem gotten more than a tint of understanding, for I am aiming for not only writers to understand but others who do not write, to understand how it feels to write

By the way when I say atleast a tint of it (in my last comment) I meant that even the words didnt get so close to explaining something impossible to explain, if anything it explained a tint of it maybe ,and in return it may get a tint of understanding

(just saying this incase anyone thought i insulted them)

I am very happy you have come close to this poem, I must admit it was a hard one to write, even when i finished writing it I felt like it was still impossible to explain or missing something, like the words I want to use does not exsist, but I'm glad Ive gotten to that level where readers could understand what it feels to write, or atleast a tint of it :D

Thanyou for the comments onece again :)

It's always been so hard to explain how I feel about writing. About how it lets me escape and run and be free and just become something else. I can jst scribble everything down and I don't worry about if its stupid or if its okay because its whats in my heart. Its as if my heart becomes one with my brain and my blood is is the ink. I lose control and let myself feel the pain the happiness. Everything people have forced me to keep inside because it made me seem weird. But I can't help it. I fell in love with writing and I'm never going back. So thank you for putting into words the things I could never voice on my own.

Human potential only goes as far as it is challenged.

I love the poem, especially the beginning. Writing puts you in a world where anything is possible.

nice flow too :)
