In too Deep
It has almost been four months
Since everything began
Since you showed up in my life
And grabbed hold of my hand
I remember that first touch
Of your fingers to mine
I was lost in that jungle
Of tangled finger vines
Now I’m trapped in that mess
I went in too deep
You won’t let me go
And won’t let me sleep
I stay up all night
Wondering how to escape
With your grasp so tight
I’m always in debate
Of whether to do it sweetly
Or simply shout it out
I can’t take it anymore
This must end, without a doubt
