Hindsight
In slow motion
After you’ve watched the footage
Filmed the fall
Everything seems so logical, so planned
You look back and see every opportunity you had to stop it
To reach out
To catch the falling glass
To make sure pavement never met her
Cracked her, fractured her, broke her
You can rewind over and over
Watch the careless hand, whoops,
Nudge the precariously placed cup
Sending her, reeling, to her demise by him
