I thought about saying so long-
But I didn’t
I thought about hugging farewell-
But I didn’t.
I thought about kissing goodbye-
But I didn’t.
I thought about finally loving you-
But I didn’t.
I wouldn’t then
And I can’t now
Because you’re
Gone.

I put my own experience of love lost into this poem, and after I felt that I suffered for being to late, which is also why I called it "Purgatory"
