How can you not see
What is right in front of you?
War, Crime, Poverty, Loss
These exist in your world
Each lives right around you
How can you just sit there
While people are being thrown
Into a war that doesn’t involve them
While their children sit home
Awaiting a visit from a loved one
That they haven’t seen in months
How can you say things
That can be easily explained
While people are out fighting for
Freedom of Speech
How can you just look around
Open your eyes and do something.
