Green, verde, vert
It surrounds us
It’s encompassing
It’s beautiful
But what happens when the green goes away
When the true darkness exposes itself
When the Ugliness comes out
What happens then?
Does all the light go away?
Or does the sun shine even brighter?
Does the world close in on itself?
Or does it open like a blooming flower?
Each perspective sees it differently
Each person has their own opinion
A side, a story, a memory
It’s what makes us unique.
White, blanco, blanc
It builds us
It breaks us
It is us.
