when you cry

a raindrop
descends
from the crevices
of your jaded
crystalline
eyes

it fills the
concave craters
and indentations
the remnants of
a lifetime
marked by the
stamps of
anxiety
vexation
remorse
and woe

it greets your
protruding snout
pauses
as it encounters
a lilliputian
speed bump
and continues to
accelerate
down
like
morphine
from
an
IV drip

at last
the raindrop's journey
culminates
as it touches
lips
met
with the
kiss
of Judas

the sorrow

finally

relinquished

but this storm
only ceases
until the next
rain clouds
are fabricated
deep within
your
heart
