I'm trapped inside the cage of my mind.
It holds me in like a fence.
Restraining me.
But when I choose to be free,
It will happen.
I will one day be able to set apart my thoughts
From those which confine my hopes,
My desires, my dreams.
They are real and will escape.
I just need to will it,
And one day,
I won't be trapped inside the cage of my mind.

This poem can be interpreted however the reader feels but I wrote it to show my will power and courage in fighting depression.
