I’ve given you all of me
But you only want pieces
Pieces from the puzzle that the Rest accept
Except the ones You don’t get
Dismember my being a whole
Accept all or nothing
Except the flaws that color me bold
I accept Your success
Except how You achieved it
I accept Your honesty
Except the fact You cheated
I know Your flaws
Accept the truth
Accept My flaws
That blind you
Have Me
And all My imperfections
No more rejections
No more exceptions
Never address it
Never regret it
As I stand before you
Accept the excepted.
