Silence
It's hanging heavy in the motionless air,
It's so thick, yet still we sit and bear.
it's like it goes on forever and ever,
it's like it hoists us far above with its crooked lever.
No one seems to have the will power,
No one does anything but bend and cower.
No one has the strength to take a stand,
No one helps those who've walked right into its hand.
But still we are one,
But still we know it has finally begun.
But still we harden our conscience,
But still we fall weak to the everlasting silence
