I am back and forth
I am unpredictable
I am always changing
I don't care who i hurt
I destroy everything in my path
I wear you down
And I push you away

You are stable
You hold me back
The more I push you
the firmer you stand
You try to be your own but
Everyday I grow into you
And I wear you down
Pushing you further away

I am the raging ocean
You are the calm shore
Two opposites
Acting as a family
I love you as my brother
Because you love me for me
You love me even though
I wear you down
And I push you away
