I hope that someday I can crunch my toes through the soft sand
I hope I’ll get the chance to run a marathon,
Feeling tired while I’m jogging and triumphant when I’m done
I hope someday I’ll find love at first sight
I hope that whenever the time comes, I’ll die a peaceful death
I hope I’ll never get thrown in jail, or locked up in a mental hospital
I hope I’ll be a good lawyer when I grow up
I hope all of my dreams will come true
And finally, I hope that all of your dreams come true too

I woke up this morning and thought, "I want to write a poem today." And this is what came out.
