Little Brother "Snow Child"
Innocent child,
All covered in cold,
Sitting so sweetly,
Surrounded by snow.
Your reddening face,
Your frost covered hands,
Your big brown eyes,
And your snow covered pants.
Just a small little baby,
Barely a year to your name,
Pure untouched snow,
Surrounding your frame.
As I watch you here,
A warmth in the cold,
Fills me up,
Penetrating my soul.
It fills me with light,
To see you here,
A small tender child,
Without any fears.
Oh how I wish you could feel,
The love radiating off me,
The way the heat from the sun,
Shines down to the earth.
If only you knew,
My small little brother,
What I would do for you,
And not for any other.
