Wind rushing by.
Birdsong in my ears.
The sun’s warmth against my skin.
Oh the things I love about summer.
No more confinement in the winter.
Only freedom.
Freedom to run, jump, skip or ride.
The only thing brighter than the sun
Is the smile on my face;
Full of pure joy and rapture.
