I take off and soar high in the sky
Over the tree tops I go
My white crown designates my pride
As I soar through the sky
Gazing down at the land
Ahead there is a field
As I go over
I watch for scattering prey
Wait what is that, it is a mouse
So small and overwhelmed with fear
I swoop down and make my grab
I have my supper now
I soar over the treetops
I go to my nest high in an oak
I care for my young
Filled with pride and joy
