No, heaven's not a place that you go when you die
It's that moment in life when you touch her and you feel alive
So live for the moment
And take this advice, live by every word
Love's completely real, so forget anything that you've heard
And live for the moment now

Ice escaping my eyes
As I soar above the
frozen wasteland of my past

I waver for only a moment
Remembrance pours over me
Frost stings my wings

The pristine ivory flakes
Would sleep under my claws
Tucked in for winter nights

Stinging my coarse skin

All I want
is a sanctuary from cold
I need a lighthouse

Brave nobles, kind men
Are burned by my temper
My stomach churns with remorse

Train me not to care
Or I shall be slain
by my own fears

As my scales touch
the warm sand
of a paradise

just far enough away
I am no longer a monster
I have reached salvation

The fire in my throat
stems from my lips
In jubilee
