"Forgive and Forget".

Mermaid sits alone in the seashell castle
Her green tail shines like a jade tapestry
The glittering surface of the sea ripples as a ship floats
She swims up to the pearl strewn portal
And sings to enchant the oblivious sailor
Heartbroken she weeps a trail of gems
Her crystal tears tumble to the beach.

Hans Christian Andersen's story "The Little Mermaid" inspired me to write this poem.

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Oooh. Great poem. Five stars. You're a fan of Hans Christian Anderson too?! The Little Mermaid is so sad compared to the movie!
