End the mushiness!
The soppy, sulky, weepy, needy
It all blends together for me
The blushing, crushing, loving, hugging
Please just get a room!
Us calloused, challenged (emotionally that is)
Beg for some relief
Endeavors, clever, written letters
Wishing, wanting, pleading, grieving
I've seen it all before
New, true, hopeful
Please, no melancholy here
Let’s branch out here people
You can’t be that dynamic
At least not all the time
