slowly penetrating my skin
the needle pouring it in
can't stop the feeling
can't stop the spread
rushing through my veins
no longer noticing the pain
the silence all around
then suddenly, sound
the needle's teasing bite
a sample of the rest of my life
this small taste of fear
calls forth the future, near
and slowly, slowly, i return
alone to my planet earth
and see nobody here
the colors all disappear
nothing below, nothing above
i'm addicted to your love
