Beautiful Phoenix
I'm bleeding butterflies,
don't be afraid to open your eyes.
these rainbows are the most amazing,
buried between the tears i cry.
Why are you telling me,
to stop this addiction,
to listen to a fallen angel,
who lost her wings to demons.
Sometimes you have to succumb,
to the flames that threaten,
to eat us in the most beautiful way,
to kill us to make us alive.
Don't tell me you can't see it,
you've been friend to dirty bottles,
that only make you sleep,
until you wake to wonder why.
Go away in peace, my love,
before your blue skies fade to grey.
You'll never see how much I love you,
you're focused on dough and not emotion.
