Group home to group home and back again.
Everyday my heart needs a mend.
The choices of those around me are the ones that shape thee.
My life could be better, my life could be worse.
Yet I must continue on this course.
People telling me what to do, the things I want to choose.
Although I have to deal with all these things, my soul still has its chances to sing.
The good is present, I just have problems that are stressing
If going back in time means losing the essence of my life, I'd choose to stay here.
